Deploying Remote Server Management Programs for Windows 8 Using ConfigMgr

Week I want to give a post remote server Management Applications (RSAT) for Windows 8 with ConfigMgr 2012. In my own opinion it should be deployed utilizing the application model Though the installer is only available as a Windows Update Standalone Installer. This gives the possibility to show some fundamentals about the Detection Rules and about the software in ConfigMgr 2012 along with the Prerequisites to me.

In a way I will go through the wizards of Creating and deploying an application. During this I shall give some explanation that is additional as it needs to be generated and there are numerous options for that.

Create Application

Library > Overview > Application Management > Applications, click Create > Create Application and the Create Application Wizard will show.

On the General page, select Manually specify the program Information and click Next.

On the Create, click Insert and the Deployment Types page Deployment Type Wizard will show.

On the General page, select Manually define the installation Type information and click Next.

About the deployment type and click Next.

To the Content location, navigate on the Content page, use as Setup program wusa.exe Windows6.2-KB2693643-x64. Msu /quiet /norestart, use as Uninstall Program wusa.exe /disable Windows6.2-KB2693643-x64. Msu /quiet /norestart and click on Next.

There are multiple choice to Check for the setup. The most significant thing is to find something special. Here I shall give two good choices for discovering RSAT for Windows 8:
